Set up campus visits soon!
Just a reminder that all athletes should be registered thru the NCAA Clearinghouse by now . This is a requirement for all NCAA Division 1, 2 & 3 potential student athletes.
To start the registration process:
1) Have a credit card handy
2) Go to: http://www.ncaaclearinhgouse.net
3) Click "Prospective Student Athletes"
4) Then, click "registration form for US Students"- located on the menu on the left
Follow the instructions carefully. Know your High School code, be accurate with your class number (2010, 2011 etc.) and check on the date of graduation from your school calendar. Be sure to print the forms required for your High School to send your transcript and scores to the Clearinghouse.
You can also download the Guide for College-Bound Student-Athletes on line from the "Prospective Student Athletes" page.
Now is the time for High School Seniors to email, call and send notes to coaches at the colleges and universities they are most interested in (some of you may have made your decisions -CONGRATULATIONS!). Hopefully you have been able to formulate your TOP 5 list and feel good about setting up your visit. Remember, you need to know that each coach you are now talking with is considering you as a scholarship athlete before you agree to visit. Treat the visit as a job interview and gather as much information as you can during your visit so you can compare notes from each visit when you get back home.
Please let us know if you have any questions and we hope you enjoy your campus visits!
"You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own highest standards, and when you reach your limits, that is real Joy.
